Design & Technology
Cabinet:
Sealed aluminum enclosure, internally supported by a wooden brace system that stiffens the form and dissolves unwanted resonance — the foundation of a silent, pitch-black acoustic background.
Wood Pedestal:
Natural grain. Warm tone. Designed to harmonize with the cabinet while visually anchoring the speaker to the room.
Drivers:
Mundorf AMT tweeter for lifelike air and transient speed. Four Accuton ceramic mid-bass for tonal purity, detail, and tight, articulate bass.
External Crossover:
Housed separately to eliminate cabinet-borne vibration. Built exclusively with premium Mundorf components — using only foil-wound air-core inductors — to preserve microdetail and natural dynamics.

The AV 170 reveals music as it unfolds in the acoustic space of a concert hall. Tuned by ear over years of immersion in music — primarily classical — it conveys timbre, scale, and emotion with absolute purity, untouched by exaggeration or distortion.
As FIDELITY magazine (No. 80, 04/2025) noted, the AV 170
played with a light-footed agility that shocked us
, and it renders a soundstage that is
deep, wide, and precisely defined
. Above all, it feels organic
.
