Founder’s Voice
Music has always been central in my life — not as a performer, but as a devoted listener. I believe it restores focus, invites reflection, and brings beauty into our often hurried days.
As a computer scientist and electrical engineer, my work has long revolved around precision — solving complex mathematical problems where clarity and structure matter above all. That same mindset became the blueprint for the AV 170 — born from focus, discipline, and an unshakable pursuit of sonic clarity.
For many years, I listened to music on modest systems. They brought joy, but also fatigue — and as my love for classical music deepened, so did my pursuit of sonic transparency. I became convinced that the loudspeaker is the most pivotal element in the entire audio chain — a truth recognized by many, yet still difficult to master. Unlike electronics, a speaker must perform in acoustically unpredictable environments, and there are no universal design formulas. Its performance is shaped by countless interacting variables — materials, geometry, and, above all, the room itself. I found myself drawn to the challenge — determined to create a loudspeaker that could meet these complexities and serve the music with honesty.
